Love is All Meets in Poznań: Two Days of Connection and Inspiration

Members of the Love is All (LIA) met on 6th and 7th of September in the beautiful Polish city of Poznan. Nicely hosted in the Academy of Physical Education, next to the hockey pitch, the meeting started with the presence of two special guests: Piotr Wilkonski, former President of the Polish Federation and current FIH board member, and Miroslaw Krogulec from Special Olympics Europe Eurasia!
All together, the team was glad to celebrate the very last steps of the Toolkit. Gino, project coordinator, was presenting the first printed version of the illustrated manuals. Norman Hughes and Natascha Bruers were presenting further steps made in the education modules for Hockey ID coaches and Events.
Other good news came from our special guest Mirek Krogulec from Special Olympics who confirmed how the LIA project is helping to make hockey ID one of the rising new disciplines of the Special Olympics World Games
After that, the team finished the first day by discussing with our Polish host Karol Sniezek, the structure of the e-learning online pages and the language mutations.
After the good work and the traditional group picture, the partners met at the stunning main square of the city to catch up with the current state of development of hockey ID in their country. For instance, the Bulgarian hockey federation had just organised its first international Hockey ID tournament using the newly developed toolkit developed by the team!

During the second day, the participants worked on the e-learning content in small groups. Then it was time to plan the next steps for dissemination of all the content once all ready. Cameron from EuroHockey already showed the team what was done from their side on the EuroHockey website and what the plans were moving forward.
We will meet online during a session in December to update about progress before the next official transnational meeting which will take place in Brussels in February 2025, which will be combined with a an official sharing event to ensure many find out (and will use!) the Hockey ID toolkits developed to support the growth of ID Sports.
